CATHERINE PARSON

Managing Director

Catherine is an  International Talent Acquisition Expert and Multilingual Tech Aficionada

 

Catherine, founder of Principle Selection, stands at the intersection of technology and executive search. With a Masters in Computer Science and Mathematics from Paris VI University, her career journey began at IBM Europe. This foundation led her to pioneer Talk Software's European expansion as Managing Director, deepening her tech industry expertise.

 

Her immersion into the fintech world further honed her skills, where she played a key role in selling complex trading and risk management systems to major European banks. Catherine's flair for business development shone through as she established and expanded ParkMobile's operations in Spain and the UK.

 

Catherine transitioned to senior executive search, bringing her tech acumen and market insights to Calibre One and Harvey Nash in London. After a few years with them,  she was ready to channel this wealth of experience into her venture, Principle Selection, specialising in Talent Acquisition of senior and middle-management executives, in Fintech and SaaS as a focus. She has created an elite methodology, which combines her rich people knowledge with the latest AI-based technologies.

 

Catherine is distinguished by her innate ability to connect with people, an intuitive understanding of candidates' unique qualities, and a deep appreciation for diverse cultures. Fluent in French, English, Spanish, and currently learning Hindi, she embodies a global perspective enriched by her extensive travels. Her passion for exploring cultures and languages is matched by a personal commitment to yoga and meditation, reflecting a well-rounded approach to both life and work.

DEEPINDER SHARMA

Director and Head of Research

Deepinder is a Marketing maven and Human Resources virtuoso at Principle Selection

 

Deepinder, an MBA graduate from Ishan Institute of Management and Technology, in South-Delhi India, brings a rich tapestry of sales management experience to Principle Selection. With a career that spans prestigious organisations like ICICI Bank, DHL, and Lafarge, he has demonstrated remarkable prowess in the sales domain.

 

Transitioning into the world of Human Resources, Deepinder now leads as the Head of Research at Principle Selection. His unique blend of people skills, creative research methodologies, and proficiency in modern technology positions him perfectly for spearheading research projects. Managing a dedicated remote team, he ensures top-notch research support, integral to the company's success.

 

Beyond his professional excellence, Deepinder is a fitness enthusiast and an accomplished yogi. These pursuits not only keep him physically agile but also imbue him with a sense of equanimity essential for his demanding role. His balanced approach to work and well-being makes him a vital asset to the team.

Pam Loch

Non Executive Director

Pam Loch has joined Principle Selection as a Non-Executive Director in 2021. She advises on all employment and Human Resources related matters.
 

Pam set up Loch Associates Group in 2007 to respond to the need for commercial and bespoke solutions for clients. She has continued to evolve the business to respond to client needs and is now proud to have services offering solutions in all elements of HR and employment law.

As well as being the Managing Director of Loch Associates Group, Pam has also been a specialist, award-winning employment law solicitor for over 20 years. Her passion for finding solutions to help businesses manage and look after their people is reflected in the development and success of the four businesses across the group.

Unusually Pam is a dual qualified solicitor, being admitted as a solicitor in Scotland and England & Wales. Clients like her pragmatic, commercially focussed approach and solutions. Pam is a prolific networker and seasoned commentator on the TV and radio on employment law and HR issues.

Pam is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and has the following qualifications: Bodmin (Hons); LLB (Distinction); DIP in Legal Practice; and ASCII.

Whilst proud of her Scottish heritage, Pam has lived in the South East for many years with her family and Ellie, her dog. She enjoys walking Ellie, keeping fit, spending time with her family and a nice glass of wine.
